Age Limit (as on 1 March 2103): between 18 years and 26 years (born between 2 March 1987 and 1 March 1995, both days included)
[Upper age limit relax able by 3 years for OBC candidates and by 5 years for SC / ST candidates.].
Educational Qualifications (as on 1 March 2103):
For Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in any Discipline with relevant sports qualification.
For Office Attendant: 10th pass with relevant sports qualification.
Sports Qualification: Candidate should have represented a state / country in National / International competition OR a District in a State level event OR a University in Inter University Tournament OR a State School Team in the National Sports / Games for Schools.
Candidate should be an active sports person, fit enough to participate in future tournaments at the time of appointment
Pay Scale:
For Assistant: Starting Basic Pay of Rs.8860 per month in the scale of Rs.8040-410-9270-500-11270-550-13470-650-15420-720-16140-990-20100.
At present, monthly gross emoluments is Rs.19340 and Total pay & allowances works out to be minimum of Rs.263500 per annum (approx).
For Office Attendant: Starting Basic Pay of Rs.6350 per month in the scale of Rs.6350-220-7230-260-8010-300-8910-400-9710-500-11710-680-13750.
At present, monthly gross emoluments is Rs.14378 and Total pay & allowances works out to be minimum of Rs.215715 per annum (approx).
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Selection trials and Interview.
Candidates possessing required qualifications will be called for selection trials. Those qualifying the selection trials will be called for Interview.
Selection Trials and Interview will be held at the respective offices.
Final selection will depend upon verification of character, genuineness of sports certificates and medical fitness.
Selected candidates will be initially posted in the Bank’s office within the recruitment zone applied.
Travel Allowance: Candidates called for Interview will be reimbursed to and fro actual II AC railway fare by the shortest route from the place of residence to the place of Interview.
Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of Rs.100 has to be paid through a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of Reserve Bank of India and payable at respective center where the application is submitted.
SC/ ST candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates should send their applications in the prescribed format along with fee DD and copies of required documents / certificates to ‘The Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Recruitment Section at respective center’ by ordinary post so as to reach the concerned office by 15 April 2013.
On the envelope, candidates should super-scribe “For recruitment of Sports Persons”.
